So I love cats, and we have one
weirdo cat called Annydots (with respect to TS Eliot’s Cats), but last week we added two more to our pride, bringing me closer to becoming a crazy cat lady.
They’re two white cats, and look identical to Mistofolees, who I had a few years ago. The cats are from next door and I never realised they were two until I saw them sitting on the wall together. Their owner passed away recently, and so we repossessed them. We’ve named them Vanilla and Ice, and currently they’re living in your room which you don’t really frequent anyway. They’ll be there for a while longer until they figure out that this is their home, and don’t want to escape to their old abode (how they look at the next-door house longingly from your window).
In your room you’ll notice a new bed (and a fab cat cushion from Mr Price)… you haven’t slept in it yet because the cats are under quarantine there, but here’s hoping you do when you’re ready. I’ve been watching your sleeping movements and you move around a lot, often lying horizontally across the entire queen size bed, often in a diagonal position too.
I therefore figured that a big best was best, plus I feared the “bus” or “car” bed wouldn’t be large enough for your nighttime sprawlings.
You’re extremely cute and chatty as always, and this week you cried when one of the toy diggers at school broke. You really do heart trucks and diggers.
News too is that just in case I was bored with two blogs and lots of work projects, I’ve added a third to the mix – Keep Calm and Run. It’s a running blog, in similar vein to Rattle and Mum, and I’m co-blogging on it with Lexie.
Cheers for now dude.
