So some Tweeps and bloggers have been keeping gratitude journals, each day penning what they’re grateful for, for around 30 days. As i’m ultra lazy efficient, I thought I’d do my 30 days of gratitude in one! Less is more, as I always say (unless it’s shoes, nail polish and Apple products).
Here they are, things I’m grateful for, in no specific order:
– My health
– Your health
– Our material stuff: house, car, clothes, TV, tools that enable me to work etc
– The internet
– Apple and Kindle
– Things that aren’t a necessity, but which still make me happy, like nail polish and Hello Kitty pens
– My friends
– My family
– The people in my life who function as family
– Two doting mother figures in your life – Gogo and Sisi
– A dog who brings much love and companionship
– My ability to run
– Twitter
– Your dad, who is so great to you
– The opportunities that have arisen this year
– Woolworths
– A sense of humour
– Living in South Africa
– Going on holiday to Cape Town this month
– Chai tea from Europa
– Blogging
– Pinterest
– Brains in my head (via Dr Seuss)
– Feet in my shoes (via Dr Seuss)
– Dr Seuss
