Dear Max Pax
I thought I’d share some of what we’re hearting at the moment:
You:
– Bubble baths with Matey bubbles (the bottle has changed since my day, but it’s pretty much the same – love the stuff!)
– Licking the white icing off Zoo biscuits.
– Building towers with your blocks.
– School! Not that you ever disliked it, but you seriously love it now. When I take you in the mornings, you kind of leap out the car and bound through the gates.
– Apps on my phone. You’ve discovered that some of my iPad stuff is on my phone.
– Shaun the Sheep. Say no more. A CeeBeebies fave.
– Feeding yourself cereal.

Me:
– Working the Keedo and Naartjie sales at the moment. Getting your winter wardrobe sorted for next year.
– Finishing some of the Zoo biscuits you leave behind.
– Getting fit again. Trying.
– Reading books as part of the judging for the Exclusive Books Boeke Awards.
– Creating pretty pinboards on Pinterest.
– Watching Glee season two again.
– Picturing spring and your birthday party next month.
Here’s to more more things to love, and renewed and continuous love.
xMom
PS: I hate to talk about “In my day”, but in my day, Zoo biscuits were really awesome. You could totally make out what animal was on the biscuit. Nowadays, these icing blobs leave me confused.

Hi
Really, I don’t think you “need” to get fit! You ran the Comrades, you must be one super fit chick!
I agree re the zoo biscuits, got me wondering, were they really better in our day or was our imagination more vivid?
Have a lovely day

Surely Zoo biscuits were awesome in our day? I think this calls for a Twitter survey… 🙂
August 4, 2011 at 2:16 pmAaah! Shaun The Sheep totally makes our list too. I’m not sure who loves that funny little bugger more… actually, Ava loves him more, but I find him way funnier than she does!
August 4, 2011 at 9:27 amZoo biscuits are so totally different from “in my day”!! And yes, Shaun the Sheep is a firm favourite – Katy for the theme tune and us for the humour 🙂
August 4, 2011 at 9:38 amPS I so wish I could hit the Naartjie sale, I have had tradesmen up to the gills now and just want to get out of the house!! FIL stopped by for a few hours yesterday so I could pop in to the office but I couldn’t warrant a trip to the shops too! Bought Katy 3 outfits and 2 tops via Keedo’s sale online last week, also shopping for next winter 🙂
August 4, 2011 at 9:50 amThe Keedo sale was also fab. Hope you get to Naartjie soon…
August 4, 2011 at 2:14 pmI totally agree about the zoo biscuits. The OT showed me the other day that those Matey bottles make great pins if you put a bit of sand in them and use a big ball to bowl with.
August 4, 2011 at 12:24 pmWhat an awesome idea. I’m going to stack up on them.
August 4, 2011 at 2:14 pmAnd I have much the same type of post today.
August 4, 2011 at 12:25 pmZoo biscuits…yum…agree with you though, I also get confused to guess what the animal is…
*Natasha* 🙂
August 4, 2011 at 12:56 pmI spotted a penguin or bird on one of them the other day. I think? 🙂
